Read Your Body supports direct import of menstrual cycle data from the Flo app!
Request your data from Flo
- Open the Flo app and go to Menu (your avatar) > Help
- Scroll down and use the chat widget to submit your data export request (JSON format)
- Download the file that you receive from Flo via email (the email may take some time to come through / you may need to follow up with the Flo support team if they don't immediately send through your data)
- Open the file using the password that you receive from Flo via another email
- Look for the JSON file inside the unzipped folder from Flo - this is the file that you need for the next steps
- Save the JSON file to your iCloud files / Google Drive
Import your file directly into Read Your Body
If you have existing data in the Read Your Body app - please export a complete backup for safekeeping at Menu > Database > Export before proceeding with the following steps
- Open the Read Your Body app and go to Menu > Database > Import
- Select ‘Flo’ as the file type for import
- Tap ‘Import’
- Find and select the Flo JSON file within your iCloud files / Google Drive
- Wait for the import to be processed (please don't navigate away until it's complete)
- If you have conflicting data in your app vs. the file then you'll be asked if you'd like to keep / replace the conflicting data in your app (you can exit out of the import process if you're unsure what you'd like to do)
