This app is for you if you have a menstrual cycle* and would like to track it!
The app is designed to work as a data recording and visualisation tool. You input daily observations of bodily signs like menstrual bleeding, cervical fluid, waking body temperature and at-home urinary hormone tests. Your data is then presented back to you in a beautiful menstrual cycle chart. You can mark your own interpretations to support a variety of wellbeing and family planning goals.
The app is suitable for those with regular or irregular menstrual cycles including those who have recently stopped using hormonal contraception / birth control, are living with PCOS, postpartum or approaching menopause. This is because the app does not make any predictions or interpretations for you. Instead it allows you to track the unfolding of each of your unique menstrual cycles in real-time.
The app is inclusive of all faiths, genders, sexualities and relationship models. Intimacy options can be set to respect different beliefs and practices including a special mode suitable for Catholic users or a wide range of secular options.
Please note that the app is not a contraceptive device or a medical device. It won’t tell you when you’re fertile (although there is a handy fertile window shading feature that uses your own interpretations).
If you’re looking for auto-interpretations then Read Your Body is not right for you! The app puts responsibility for all interpretations and outcomes in your hands. It is a simple yet highly customisable data recording tool designed to be used alongside learning support.

*If you’re on hormonal contraception that suppresses ovulation then you can still use the app to track withdrawal bleeds and lifestyle factors including mood, exercise, self-care, etc. You’re unlikely to see any meaningful patterns with regards to cervical fluid and waking body temperature though.
