This is a known issue which we've regrettably been unable to fix within the app to date - it seems to be a phone environment issue. Thankfully it can usually be resolved through a simple app reset! :)
Please follow these steps to resolve:
- Go to Menu > Database > Export and export a complete backup - save to your iCloud files / Google Drive
- Reset your app
- iPhone: delete, reinstall and reopen the app
- Android: clear your Read Your Body app cache and data in your phone system settings
- Tap ‘Get started’ to move through the app’s welcome flow (it doesn’t matter which settings you select during this flow as you’ll restore your settings in the next steps)
- Once back inside the app go to Menu > Database > Import
- Import your RYB file from your iCloud files / Google Drive to restore your settings and data
- If you had photos in the app previously then import these as a ZIP file from your iCloud files / Google Drive
Your chart screen should now load smoothly again :)

If you’re an Indiegogo backer / lifetime supporter on iOS, please reinstall the app via TestFlight rather than the App Store.
If you're using the encrypted backup account feature in the app then log back in at Menu > Account to make sure that your data remains backed up moving forward.
