Menu > Settings > Display options > Fertile window shading
This feature uses the interpretations that you mark yourself to show when your fertile window is open.
Shading displays in the intimacy row on your chart on those days when you should consider yourself potentially fertile. Note that this feature relies 100% on your own interpretations! The app is not predicting or interpreting anything for you. It is simply a data recording tool.
---
The standard option is suitable for those with regular menstrual cycles who are following a sympto-thermal method.
The fertile window opens on the day when:
- You mark your first fertile day by calculation = stop hand icon on chart
- You mark your point of change (cervical fluid) = half droplet icon on chart
Whichever comes first!
The fertile window closes on the evening of the day when:
- You mark your count after peak as being complete = empty droplet icon on chart
- You mark your temperature rise as being confirmed = checkmark icon on chart
Whichever comes last!
The above items are displayed as fertile window markers ("Markers") on your chart. The markers only display if you have the standard fertile window shading option enabled.
If you'd like to hide the "Markers" rows from your chart (while keeping the fertile window shading in the intimacy row) then you can do so by tapping the three dots icon at the top right of your chart screen then the gear icon and toggling off "Markers" for display on your chart.
